The K1 CentriMax is Infinity’s premier all-inclusive CentriTel™ optic. Capable of focus from 3 meters to 60mm, depending on the MX-series objective used, the K1 CentriMax maintains essentially constant magnification when focused from a selected working distance.
The K1 CentriMax can be supplemented with coaxial illumination and infinity-corrected microscope objectives for higher-power uses in the InFocus™ mode. In the InFocus mode, some slight magnification changes can be expected during internal focus. It then has a 2x factor (for example, a 10x objective then operates as a 20x). The standard S Front can be used with Achrovid™, Mitutoyo, Nikon or Olympus infinity-corrected objectives. For use specifically with Zeiss ICS-system color corrected objectives, the S Front can be exchanged with the Z Front.
For use with sensors larger than 4/3-in., the K1 CentriMax can be supplemented with the NTX 2x amplifier. A camera adapter (C or T2) must be added.
